Qigong – Mindfulness through movement

Welcome to my new website all about Qigong and Internal Arts

Qigong 氣功 is a generic term for many different systems of gentle internal and external exercises, including Tai Chi, that combine physical movement, breathing, visualisation and stillness, which have been practiced in the Far East for thousands of years.

It is a moving-meditation practice for health, wellbeing and spiritual development, rooted in Daoism, Buddhism and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Qigong is the perfect antidote to the hyper-stimulation and stresses of twenty first century life. Whether you practice Standing like a tree (Zhan Zhuang), Shibashi or a Tai Chi form just 10 to 20 minutes a day will have a significant effect on your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Qigong is simple to learn, requires no special clothing or equipment and can be practiced almost anywhere. It is suitable for all ages and abilities.

My website is still under development, please bear with me as I add more material.
